Who We Are
What We Do
The Community Action Partnership of Cambria County (CAPCC) has a rich history of empowering individuals and families in the region to overcome poverty and achieve self-sufficiency. Established in 1966 as part of the national War on Poverty initiative, CAPCC has been a vital resource for addressing the diverse needs of the community.
Over the decades, the organization has expanded its programs and services to include housing and utility assistance, early childhood education, advocacy, and nutrition and health assistance for women and children.
By fostering collaboration with local agencies and leveraging federal, state, and community resources, CAPCC has consistently adapted to the evolving challenges faced by Cambria County residents. Today, it remains a cornerstone of support and a champion for positive change, dedicated to improving the quality of life for all.
